Mica is returning to Scotland for the first time in a decade for its 2023 *Mica Exchange* - the co-operative’s national independent retailer & key supplier gathering - this time to Peebles in the Scottish Borders.
Feedback from last year’s event, held at the Quay Hotel in Deganwy, North Wales tells a story of a truly successful event greatly enjoyed by the Mica members and supplier partners that attended.
HG Account Manager Robert Naylor, noted at the end of the daytime event that it had been “a great way to meet Mica members and create great relationships”
This year will see the group travel to the 4* Peebles Hydro Hotel & Spa; one of only two hydropathic hotels remaining in Scotland; a category B listed building opened originally in 1881 on the banks of the River Tweed.
Not only is the Hydro a unique venue, it also boasts an impressive array of additional activities including a spa and gin distillery on site, not to mention being set in the beautiful surrounds of rural Peebleshire.
The weekend event, which includes speed dating event for Mica retailers and suppliers, as well as the co-operatives AGM and Gala Dinner & Awards evening, has some of the best feedback in the hardware industry for being cost effective, time efficient and creating a great atmosphere for business and pleasure.
