Mica Facebook Page Free Prize Draw - terms & conditions:

1) This promotion ‘The Prize Draw’ is open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over using the Mica DIY (‘The Promoter’) Facebook page using the official competition post ‘The Post’ directly.

2) Entries into The Prize Draw can be made by indicating a designated Mica store into the competition comments box, where you agree you would be willing to collect the prize should you be drawn as the winner (‘The Winner’).

3) To be a valid entry, this must be done on The Post, between 12:00pm Thursday 25th September and 12:00pm Monday 29th September. Entries received via other means or before or after this date will not be accepted.

4) Any person wishing to enter must have followed the Mica DIY Facebook page at least 24 hours before entering. Any individual that has not fulfilled this requirement will be unable to enter.

5) The Prize Draw has ONE prize, ‘The Prize’ to be won; a Hilka Pressure Washer to be won by one individual, the Winner. The Prize is non-negotiable, no cash alternative will be offered and the prizes are non-transferable.

6) The Prize may come ready to assemble. Assembly is not provided by The Promoter.

7) The Prize Draw is strictly one entry per person & Facebook user only. Third party or multiple entries will not be accepted. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any multiple entries made by the same person or any entries suspected to be bots or other computer software. The Promoter also reserves the right to disqualify those entries it suspects have been made fraudulently.

8) The Promoter reserves the right to reject any entry it considers to be discriminatory, blasphemous, defamatory, offensive, obscene or that is deemed to bring the integrity of The Prize Draw into disrepute.

9) The Promoter confirms Employees & Proprietors of Mica shops, direct employees of The Promoter and their direct family may not enter. This is to reassure and enforce fairness.

10) The Winner will be chosen via random draw.

11) Following the random draw, The Winner of The Prize Draw will be contacted via Facebook. The Winner will then have 48 hours to respond.

12) The Promoter is the ONLY Facebook account that will contact The Winner when they have won The Prize Draw. The Promoter will not be held responsible for any consequences suffered by an entrant as a result of interacting with a Facebook account falsely claiming that entrant as a winner of The Prize Draw. The entrant is fully responsible for ensuring any communication they receive regarding The Prize Draw is genuine.

13) Entry into The Prize Draw is deemed acceptance of these terms & conditions ‘The Terms’ in full, but to ensure active agreement of all those in direct contact with The Promoter, The Winner must actively agree in writing to The Terms to receive The Prize.

14) The Winner is required to provide a form of contact (including either a valid email address or phone number) to organise collection of The Prize.

15) If the Winner does not accept ‘The Terms’ including specifically upon request responding proactively to requests in 9, 10 & 11, the Winner will be disqualified and The Prize will be redrawn with the process restarted.

16) Once the Winner has complied with The Terms, they will then have two weeks to collect The Prize from the Mica store nominated when entering; no alternate methods are available. The Promoter is not responsible for travelling costs. If the Winner cannot travel to the Mica store then The Prize will be redrawn using process set out above.

17) The Winner will be required to take part in publicity resulting from The Prize Draw (a presentation & winner photograph). No compensation shall be awarded for this participation.

18) Any details taken will be treated with strict confidentiality and only used to facilitate the safe receipt of The Prize at the nominated store.

19) The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw The Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

20) No responsibility is accepted for entries into The Prize Draw that may be lost or delayed in transmission.

21) The Promoter will not be liable for damage caused by this promotion.

22) The Promoter and its employees, agents and/or distributors will not be responsible and will not accept any liability for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by you as an entrant or participant.

23) The Promoter’s decision on matters relating to The Prize Draw is final and binding.

24) Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.

25) This promotion is in no way endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
